Experience
My name is Jon Florin and I earned my first paycheck working in my Uncle’s restaurant at the age of thirteen where I discovered I had a love for the restaurant business. As a young adult I spent 20+ years learning, observing, and working at a number of successful restaurant chains including: Pizza Hut, Subway, Rocky Rococo’s, Milio’s Sandwiches, Lombardino’s, & Gino’s Italian Deli. I’ve had the title of Dishwasher, Busboy, Delivery Driver, Manager, Director of Operations, Recruiter, Trainer, and the responsibilities of an operator of a multi-unit QSR chain.
When my career as a restaurateur unexpectedly ended I pursued my other passion that is advertising and marketing. Most recently, I was given the opportunity to lead the advertising and marketing efforts of a world-class media arts college. From the positions of Manager, Trainer, Operator, Director, and Social Media Marketer I have been exposed to and challenged by more than most have been in their lifetime.
